Early on 16 June, we were joined by our son Cameron, who now lives in the USA with his wife and their son, Ryden. * |

We ate that night in a good restaurant at the Cairns Aquarium. * |

The next day, we headed off to Millaa Millaa Falls, on the Atherton Tablelands and quite a bit south of Cairns. † |

The next day, we took the historic train journey from Cairns to Kuranda. † |

The Barron River Falls used to be magnificent, but a combination of low rainfall and diversion for hydro electricity left only a trickle for us to see. † |
