		St John's Bridge is a very attractive bridge across the Columbia River at the edge of Portland. *

		In the park under the bridge approach, the foliage was starting to get autumn colours. *
		And there were autumn colours in the Columbia River gorge. *
		Mount Jefferson and the Cascade Mountains, seen from the lodge at Mount Hood. *

From Portland, we took a direct flight to Hawaii where we stayed in Waikiki.
